Lynne joined MAI in 2016 and is a Tax Exempt Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. She is a member of MAI’s Fixed Income Committee which is tasked with setting and implementing fixed income strategy in client portfolios. Prior to MAI, she was a Municipal Portfolio Manager at KeyBank, formerly Victory Capital Management, for 17 years. Lynne earned her BA from Baldwin Wallace College and her MBA from Case Western University Weatherhead School of Management.
Nick is a Taxable Fixed Income Senior Portfolio Manager at MAI. He is a member of MAI’s Fixed Income Committee which is tasked with setting and implementing fixed income strategy in client portfolios. Prior to MAI, Nick served as PNC/National City Bank’s Fixed Income Strategist for nine years, and has a 20 years of investment experience. He earned his BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from John Carroll University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
John is the Chief Investment Officer and Group Head at MAI. He joined MAI’s investment team in 2007 and gained over a decade of experience in manager due diligence and investment research across the equity, fixed income, and alternative asset classes. He has also provided custom portfolio management services to MAI’s high net worth clients since 2007. John became MAI’s CIO in 2016 and is responsible for coordinating the firm’s overall investment strategy and its implementation in MAI’s client portfolios. John earned his BS in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Dayton. He graduated summa cum laude from UD, ranking first in his class in both degree programs and receiving the Award for Excellence to the Outstanding Senior Majoring in Finance and the Dr. E. B. O’Leary Award of Excellence to the Outstanding Senior Majoring in Economics. John holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland. John shares his investment knowledge in his community by serving on the Investment Committee of his alma mater, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin, and serving as President of the City Mission Endowment Foundation. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the City Mission and is currently the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.
Erik is an Institutional Business Development Officer at MAI, joining the firm in 2013. He is responsible for business development and distribution of the firm’s proprietary strategies to institutions. Prior to MAI, Erik was a Product Manager at PNC Investments where he was responsible for the launch of online trading & investing and structured products. Additionally, he was a Staff Sergeant in the Ohio Air National Guard where he worked in the Accounting Liaison Office. Erik earned his Associates in Applied Science from the Community College of the Air Force, his BA in Economics from Denison University and his MBA from Ashland University. He is actively involved in his community, serving on St. Augustine’s Associate Board.
